Obituary for Darin L Wilson

Darin Lee Wilson succumbed to a long illness on April 11th with loved ones by his bedside.
Born in 1964 Darin lived the first part of his life in Monrovia, California.
He graduated Monrovia High in 1982. He began dancing at Disneyland and was promoted to A Kid of the Kingdom, an elite group of dancers and singers and moved to Disneyworld in Orlando. He played most of the Prince's in the park and one of the costumes weighed over 100 lbs. He even danced at the Super Bowl, American Bandstand, Fame, among other venues.
In 1989 he went to work temporarily as a flight attendant. After 34 years and many mergers later he never left. He retired March 2023 as an US Air/American Flight Attendant. He received many accolades for his award winning customer service, always smiling.

He leaves behind his devoted loving husband David Pasternack. His step daughter Hillary, his father Mickey and sister Sheri Wilson of Sullivan, Indiana. Two nephews, Tommy, Joe and a niece Tabitha. He will be missed by many friends and passengers all over the world.
The entire animal kingdom also mourns Darin’s loss as he loved all animals and they all loved him as a Dr. Dolittle type of friend.

He will be missed for his smile, strength and insatiable willingness to help everyone he ran into.

Funeral services will be on Friday, April 14 and 10:30 am at Fairway Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 1391 NW 45th Street, Deerfield Beach, Fl. Visiting hours/Shiva information will be forthcoming all in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
