Born in Decatur, Illinois to Wayne F. Sims and Mabel Mae Sims on October 18, 1943. Both parents preceded her in death, as well as her brother, Ronald Sims. She is survived by two siblings, brother Richard Sims and sister, Loretta McDougall, her husband James Francis, son Gary Ledbetter, daughter Dana O'Neil, three grandchildren, Emma Ledbetter, Jaymeson West, and Liam O'Neil, and one great grandchild, King Ledbetter, and her precious cat Bella.
