My deepest sympathies to the Itzkowitz family and friends. Death was never a part of God's purpose for mankind. The Bible tells us at Romans 5:12 that "through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin." Jehovah God has provided the perfect remedy. He gave his most precious son so that those exercising faith in him might have everlasting life. (John 3:16) Rejoice in the priceless hope of being reunited with your loved one during the future resurrection when those sleeping in death will be awakened. (John 5:28,29)
