My dear Sim The first time I met you, you told me "I'm going to marry your daughter" and I laughed. You questioned me about our Jewish family background and then proceeded to tell me how much you loved her and how you were anxious to help in raising my grandson Louis. My heart breaks for your untimely death and how all those dreams cannot become reality. You were a good kind soul and should have lived a long life. I am truly heartbroken. I will miss you very much. I am devastated - I find myself in a state of disbelief - this is surreal. Not Sim?! no.... What calms me down is I can still hear his laugh! I understand Hashem has control; yeah things ended with us two back then. FULL circle this year when we ran into each other twice!! first time - both furniture shopping; the energies were still there it was obvious - we felt it; we smiled; talked and we laughed a lot! Reunited it was special and innocently beautiful. ALMOST as if we were the only two people in the entire store - we both said take care and went our own ways... I wanted to turn around and run to him ....but I didn't I kept walking ...AND AGAIN 2nd time I ran into him at a Shabbas dinner - we sat together enjoyed our meal as we broke challah bread together - laughing as we were reminiscing on our past years of friendship and time together - it was charming - LITTLE did we both know it was our final time we'd ever be together. Thanks to Hashem for putting us together twice this year and us putting closure on us; our many Shabbas's and many beautiful Jewish holidays we spent together over the years; many in our Shul - my home and his home; always enjoying each other's company and enjoying our beautiful children. What calms me down is I can still hear his laugh. Sim OBM peace and love 💙

So sorry to hear of Sim Gershon. May he rest in peace. Prayers for his family. He was a good guy. I remember going to his house to look at his Three Stooges memoribilia. He had it stuffed everywhere. In drawers, shelves, etc. His favorite was Joe Besser, who he was seriously researching for a book. I hope someone finishes it in his name. RIP Sim

Sim was one of my first administrators in my Facebook group "Three Stooges Fans Unite" and was like my right hand man in the early days of the group. He organized a convention at one time and always helped me when I ran into problems in the group. He always was there when I needed someone to talk to and never failed to remember my birthday. He was a cheerful, funny guy and very knowledgeable about The Three Stooges. He will be greatly missed by the members of The Three Stooges Community. I can only hope that someone will see to it his book about Joe Besser is published. I will miss you brother. Duane Reland Richardson
